WHUU. MYAKU-NESS.

...and I'm STILL annoyed by this pic because
1.) I can't find anything to color it with,
2.) Scanner made some areas look darker than others,
3.) I still don't like the way his arm/hand turned out. And his left shoulder looks funny. x.x;

But I was tired of going without a reference pic for him. xD
(and NO, he doesn't actually have furry animal legs. it's a jutsu that gives them that appearance.
...very useful for a person who can't draw decent pants. 8D)

The main reason I took so long to finally upload this was the fact that he is, without a doubt, my most complex character (personality-wise.) And I wanted to have plenty of time and freedom to type and/or copy & paste his various descriptions. I also used a lengthened version of his description I have from Furc.

...yet surprisingly, he has no solid past whatsoever. 8D
At least I can put it in a nutshell. xD

And what's worse, I might be adding to it once I've developed his past and love interest. (though apparently he does have a crush on my friend's OC's sister. owo)


Ranmyaku Sumiyaka

Aliases: Myaku, Sumiyaka, The Painted Ninja, Phantom of Konoha



Hobbies/Interests: Painting, tree-climbing/hopping, pestering konoha ninjas (as well as enemies like the Akatsuki & the Seven Sound Ninja), teaching others to be aware of out-of-the-ordinary enemies through his stealth stunts & pranks (He's quite more cunning than he looks and behaves,) proving he's everything far from a normal human being.

Special jutsus: (only a couple)

Paint-clone ritual: Called a ritual because it takes quite a bit more than a simple handsign. it requires the drawing of two connected circles on the ground, which will enable the creation of a clone of any ninja that Myaku manages to lure into one of the circles...with a twist. The clone will have the opposite personality traits of the original...at least to the extent of what Myaku wants the outcome to be. (Let's face it. If he made an exact personality opposite of someone like, say, Jiraiya.....well, let's leave it there. XD)

Sumiya skin:Cloaks himself in a shell of paint, giving him the temporary form of an earth-colored large cat that is incredibly fast and quite dangerous in battle.



Likes:
Trees, paint, wild animals (mainly monkeys & big cats), African drums, performing in front of others (doesn't understand people with stage fright), risky missions, adrenaline, startling/ pranking others

Dislikes:
Cities, cars, fast food, crowded/closed-in places, cages, any place without trees, authority (especially corrupt), traitors, cruelty, sadness, boring people.

Disorders & personality quirks/flaws:

•Dendrophilia, claustrophobia.
•A bit delusional...often thinks/wonders if he is indeed some kind of animal.
•He loves the thrill of the chase...especially if he's the one being chased. He will often antagonize even the most dangerous enemy just so he can practice his getaway techniques; then lure the enemy into one of his traps.
•He's quite egotistical & thick-headed because of this constant "They'll never get me" mentality. But let's face it; he's a boy gifted with pure dumb luck.
•He smiles practically all the time...especially when someone tries to make him angry (not an easy task.)
•He has a hidden, more mysterious side to him - Ranmeikyu - that is often only triggered if he's in the middle of a forest at night, or if he's enclosed in a small room; he is quite dangerous like this, but never unjustly so.
•He is easily subdued by ropes, vines, etc. (I added this trait because I wanted to give an unexpected weakness to one of the least containable human OC's I've ever made xD) Something in his head is triggered that immediately calms him down...quite possibly from when he was a baby. The one actual detail I have from his past is that his mother weaved a blanket of vines for him, and sang softly to him while he was wrapped safely in her arms. Perhaps, once he is restrained, he can faintly hear her singing...?

A tall, lanky boy of seventeen walks by with a clumsy pace and a wild look in his large, yellow eyes; his spiked, dark brown locks droop just over his silver headband. His lightly-tanned torso, face and arms are hidden in a layer of earth-brown paint with pale markings drawn on his hands and face...the designs on his hands look somewhat like the symbol of the Leaf. Well-built for his frame and of average weight, his eyes, hands and ever-present smirk seem disproportionately large to his body. Nevertheless, he has a certain charm that either makes people drawn to his personality...or one that others immediately loathe. What you are seeing is an obnoxious, claustrophobic, yet outgoing troublemaker. This ninja has the ability to control loose, muddy earth to his whim, as one can tell by his 'disguise.' He cannot stand cities or other civilized areas, preferring to roam about in the hands of nature - especially jungles. It is said that after running away from home to get away from the stresses of living in an area plagued with rogues, he once lived in a jungle, learning much about the earth around him...and even claiming to have seen a cat-like creature that he named the Sumiya beast.

Though outgoing as could be, Myaku seems to be under the delusion that he is himself a wild animal. This bit of confusion shows itself through his harmless eccentric attitude towards everything. It seems he knows only how to feel optimistic and uncaring of other's opinions...except when one attempts to make him angry. Let's just say that when he is taken from his element, or when he is pushed too far...that wide, intriguing smirk of his just gets all the wider.
