Once AGAIN. Another project that I had intended to color on GIMP but 1.)didn't have the time and 2.)got annoyed with re-outlining everything. xD



But YESSS. I had planned to do this for a while (plus I got this song stuck in my head for a whole day and decided to make it then), and I love the way it turned out.

And now for my (colorless) official OC Caramelldansen page.



(I left Seraph colored because I colored in his outfit. He'd look strange with paper-white face, arms & hair while having a black outfit. xD)

(...I love the way the shading on his pants came out though. They actually look decent for someone so impatient with shading. <3 )

Starting from the top left, I'll name the characters, their colors, their reactions to being forced into the Caramelldansen craze, and a tiny bit about their backgrounds.

Cheruice:
•(Golden-yellow hair, warm gold eyes, orange jacket, dark khaki pants.)
•Seraph's girlfriend and quite a bit more feminine (and hyper) than one would expect by her appearance.

Cheruice: "WHOOT!" *dances* "Aw come on, Seraph! You look cute when you're dancing!"

Seraph: *grumbles* "I think I'd rather tolerate Alice -.- ..."

Seraphis: My cynical emo-punk charrie with Chester Bennington's voice and loves Cheri's backrubs.
Everyone knows him by now. xD

Seraphis: "-____-; make. it. stop."

Arkaeus:
•Light blue shirt, dark baggy jeans. (XD ha, I left his eyes colored. They just look so shiny and cool. >w< )
•Seraph's 22-year-old cousin and 99.9% of the time perfectly calm and serious.

Arkaeus: "...what am I doing this for again? o_o; "

Ranmyaku:
•Light tan vest over a black shirt; Pure brown face/arm paint with creamy white hand & facial markings. Dark brown hair, dusty/dark brown "cat" legs. False off-white tail, and false (but very vivid) yellow eyes - normally light green.
•My most complex OC personality-wise. See 'Enter: Ranmyaku' for details. xD
•Being slightly crazy and overly-hyper, he probably wouldn't mind dancing the Caramelldansen at all (unless Hana was watching X3)

Ranmyaku: YEAH!! *dances rather clumsily*

Hikari Dareigan:
•Blonde hair, royal purple shirt, blue denims. Normally has turquoise eyes; they turn red when her Daemon is stirred
•My first RP character: copied a bit off of Inuyasha, but I've definitely made some improvements to her character.
~She's still half-"demon," but for her it is called the Dæmon-Draïk: A cursed, very fierce dragon/human hybrid. (normal dragon-humans are just called Draïks.) She wears a pendant on a necklace (one I forgot to draw Dx) that looks like a silvery-blue dragon. It indicates her status as a Draïk
~She's still temperamental and has the same "BRING IT ONNN *growl*" attitude, but rest assured, she's nothing like Inuysha's obnoxious rudeness. She's actually quite outgoing, and can't stand injustice.

Hikari: HECKYEAH. >w< *dances*


Zephyirus:
•Emerald eyes, spiky black hair w/bleached yellow tips, black shirt w/yellow emblem of some kind, greyish denim
•Hikari's boyfriend that's more than just a cute Asian...he's a Japanese dragon.
~I wasn't sure whether to make him a Draïk or not, but decided that he'd just be a dragon capable of using magic that allows him to take the form of a human.
~His dragon form is a glowing, limbless, yellow lightning dragon with large, yellow wings - the underside of which are black. It has very prominent scales, six or so bent spikes on its head, and a three-pronged tail. (He looks cool, in other words. x3 )
~He's the typical three C's that you seem to see in every other character of mine: calm, collected, and caring. (He has very good English, too. xD)

(**note that he isn't glaring or seething in the pic. It's just the way his eyes look. And I can't draw asian eyes that well xD; ** )

Zephyirus: *overall indifferent* "How long is this going to last, exactly...? e.e;"


Muertimo Nagori:
*seething* *mutters a death threat under his breath* *continues seething* -____-#

•Black hair, very dark purple overcoat-cloak-thingie, black dress-suit with a clean white undershirt.
•Eyes are his most interesting feature: they are a tone of opal - and also a delicate mix of yellow, purple, green, and red - all blended to make white.

~When his emotions change, the corners of his irises seem to glint in a separate color. If the emotion deepens or continues, the whole iris will fade into that color.
• Yellow=happiness.
• Purple=Sadness or deep thought.
• Red=fear.
• Emerald green=anger. (Note that as he grows angrier, the shade of green will fade more into a neon tone.)

I wanted to make a villain for Hikari's story, and he has a LOT more background info than I thought.

Pre-background info:
There's a creature I made called the Nagori: giant purple serpents with six horns, a 2-4-pronged tail, colorful frills on the sides of its cheeks, and bright neon green eyes. They're fierce and venomous, and towers to about 20 feet when it's sitting up. Its mouth almost looks like a canine's when its huge teeth/fangs are bared.
~It is perfectly capable of understanding/responding to human language - it has the intelligence of a teenager. (Hence the word INTELLIGENCE, not MATURITY.)
~It only attacks when it's hunting, feels threatened, or is annoyed by the fact that there's something that won't stop staring/screaming at it. Running away from it is actually the best thing to do; it feels rather proud of itself when it manages to make someone run away.

HOW I came up with the idea for such a thing... I looked up the Japanese word for 'memory' on Freedict, found Nagori, and suddenly figured that it sounded like the name for a snake species. (Considering that 'Nag' was the name of a cobra in a story I read once, and 'Ori' sounds like 'Oro.' xD; )

ANYWAYS.

Muertimo is Spanish/Japanese (NOT Mexican. ><; ) and basically has been cursed in that every bad memory he gains becomes a nagori-shaped arm of energy that he can manipulate to make them appear to become an extra limb, though they're really just appearing from...basically nowhere. xD (hence the snake thingie that seems to be appearing from his back.)

•Muertimo is overall cynical, sadistic, cunning... yet far from what people consider to be evil.
He's simply another tormented soul...though he becomes sort of a rival to Hikari, she can see that there is good in his heart. He's actually quite a gentleman, and is fluent in Spanish, English, and Japanese (random side fact. XD)
Once he realizes that Hikari has no intentions of hating him the way the rest of society does, he almost acts like a brother to her. (Even though he's about 25. xD)


...and YES I know he looks like Mikami (particularly the hair.) I made him a character before I even knew about Mikami. x.x;

And if you didn't notice that he looked that way before I said that, I'll just say: I think he looks like Mikami. Which freaks me out because I was all "...crap. He looks like the one anime charrie that can truly give me the creeps." xD
